About Wine From Africa
Wine from Africa is an e-commerce B2C (business to consumer) platform that celebrates and promotes wines, sparkling wines, and spirits produced in Africa by Black Africans. Our collection also includes international wines, sparkling wines, and spirits created by people of colour and minorities in the industry.
At Wine from Africa, we aim to increase the trade of wines made by small-scale, previously disadvantaged winemakers through a robust network using diverse platforms. We collaborate with bottle stores, restaurants, hotels, and more to showcase these wonderful wine brands.
As part of our mission, we host events throughout the year in South Africa, with plans to expand into and beyond the continent.
We work with a carefully selected panel of sommeliers, restaurateurs, hoteliers, liquor store owners, chefs, winemakers, public figures and business leaders who blind-taste these wines and provide their recommendations. You can find their insights online and on “Panel’s 1st choice” wines and boxes.
Our target audience includes both businesses and wine lovers alike, throughout the world. We are always on the lookout for companies that support minority brands and cultivate these relationships to increase the market share for our featured wines.
